The cushion has a wool-polyester blend filling, the same as used by mattress manufacturers.
This is a great product if your baby has colic or reflux. You can adjust the cushion so that the head is higher. Or you can leave the cushion out altogether so the baby is cradled upright in a womb-like fetal position.
